Leverage the Ribbon Connect Portal to simplify deployments

Ribbon Connect Portal Overview

The Ribbon Connect Portal includes functionality that allows the distributer to set up reseller/ partner accounts and to also set up customers on behalf of partners. Additionally, Distributors have admin access that enables them to set up user access and allocate services to each customer.   Once Customers have been set up, Partners will leverage the portal to configure specific customer services.  Ribbon’s Connect Portal offers a easy -to- use interface to enable Partners to manage services and customers simply and quickly. Distributors use the account management tool to set up accounts and allocate services. Partners use the Customer Portal to set up and configure SIP Trunks, PBXs and Microsoft Teams services.

This tutorial provides an overview of the Ribbon Connect Portal and the various functionality available to Partners and Synnex Administrators.

Ribbon Connect Distributor Overview

Once Synnex has set up Customers on behalf of Partners, Partners will leverage the portal to configure specific customer services.  These services include SIP Trunks, Phone systems and/or IP Phones and Microsoft Teams users and services. In this Account Management module you will learn how to add (Reseller) partners, set up and invite administrators to the Ribbon Connect Portal , how to allocate licenses to Partners and how to set up customer accounts behalf of the partner.

This tutorial will cover Account Management functions and designed to support Distributors or Universal Partners who have a direct relationship with Ribbon Communications.

This tutorial also includes the pre-requisites needed prior to configuration of these services. 

 In this module Partners will learn how to connect PBX's, SIP Trunks and MS Teams. You will also learn how Users are loaded and how the Ribbon Connect Portal syncs services in One-Click.
